A federal judge ordered the U.S. military parade the implementation of the do not ask, do not tell policy on Tuesday.
Virginia Judge Phillips ordered the military "to suspend immediately and stop an investigation or discharge, separation, or otherwise, that may have been initiated under the" Do not Ask, Do not Tell "."
The judge had previously ruled that the policy on homosexuals serving in the military service members violated the Fifth Amendment rights, but delayed the issuance of the warrant
